Q: The horizontal piece on the backside of the middle table is 1/2in too long. It will not fit between bench seats. I cannot trim it because of the metal threading in the wood. Please advise/send correct

DO NOT BUY. The quality is horrible and the assembly directions are a joke. Huge waste of time. Huge headache. The pieces don't even fit together. So annoying that these corporate stores carry such garbage product and then it's up to the buyer to deal with returns.
