Doesn't work

The quality is really poor and it doesn't support a basic umbrella. It's not that it's not heavy enough, it's that the piece that holds the umbrella in place isn't stable and the whole thing falls over. In our case, damaging a fence. I am buying a more expensive better quality one, which is what I should have done in the first place. Don't waste your time, money, and fence.

A very good base for umbrella!

Works great on our umbrella. If you are using it on hardwood floors or the floors that may scratch be sure to have three adhesive cushion pads to put on the bottom. The product is well made and works to our expectations.
