Easy Install well made Patio Awning

Very pleased with purchase. As stated elsewhere the instructions are confusing. There is an excellent video on YouTube to help. All in all, very happy with purchase. Because of the style, do not leave extended when not in use and I believe it will last quite a while.

Great Awning
We could not be more please with our awning! We did hire a guy to install it for us, but installation seemed to go quite smoothly (definitely a two-person job). We LOVE how easy it is to use and are enjoying the shade it provides so much! Many friends have asked where we purchased it and we are pleased to give them the information.

Go slow on install. Directions are not 100% clear (could've been us too). After the fourth attempt, it is up correctly and we absolutely love it! Great quality. Very surprised at how cheap the price was.

UPS is the worst delivery service. they refused to deliver the awnings to our home we met them on a highway turn out!the awnings are so lovely, the boxes were a little rough which made me leery about the awnings but not a scratch inside! We are really pleased

Works as advertised
Directions are a bit sketchy, but was able to figure it out from the diagrams. My family enjoys the shade on the hot days. No issues so far. Although, strong winds might take it down.

Decent priduct for the pruce
Product arrived earlier than expected. Took my wife and myself about 2 1/2 hiurs to install. Assembly instructions were not very good. Time will tell on how it lasts, but works great. Though even low wind makes it move a lot.

Be careful!
Easy to assemble, despite the poor English instructions. One warning: the heads of the wedge anchors are the same as a 5/8 anchor (11/16), BUT the anchors themselves are 14mm or some metric size. My first holes were 5/8 as the instructions state, but the anchors were just off. No way did they bite enough to hold this thing up. It pulled out almost immediately. I went to local hardware store and got 5/8 anchors (not metric), and they were tight to hammer in and bit right down. I actually hung on the crosspiece to ensure they'd stay tight (I am 6'2' and 245). This thing isn't going anywhere. Ever. The poor OEM anchors are the reason for the 3-star installation rating.I'm pretty handy, and I could tell right away there was a size disparity.Other than that.....I'm very happy so far!

One-man installation
I installed, by myself, in about 4 hours. Application was on wood stud frame house, and I used my John Deere front end loader to do the lifting to the brackets. Instructions included were somewhat difficult to understand, and were no doubt written by someone who's first language was not English. Careful attention to detail and watching a video on U-tube was helpful. Use caution in determining the height of brackets, too high, and short people with have problems with using the somewhat short crank handle without a baby stool. There should be a warning about using the awning in windy conditions. I have already noticed that on a breezy day of about 15 mph gusts, it flops around enough to be of concern.
