Good quality and value

The instructions and parts identification were very clear and easy to follow. I put it together by myself without much trouble, I had help to lift it up into the mounting brackets. I chose this awning to replace the original one on my stationary rv at a savings over a $500.

An excellent value

This would have cost more if installed by a company around my house. The instructions still need a little work, but a friend and I figured everything out. It is now installed and I am very happy.

Great awning, great deal!

We love this awning! With 30 years of IKEA experience, it only took a couple hours to assemble, and although the English of the instructions is a little funky ("The arms need up.") We only had to backtrack once to fix a part we had put on backwards. The hardest part was finding the studs to attach it to, and after that installation was a breeze. Now our deck is much more inviting on a hot sunny day, and no bother moving a heavy umbrella stand around. Yeah, for $1000 more, we could have gotten something more robust, but I think as long as we roll it in for wind and rain, it will be fine. Love it!

Retractable Awning

Assembly was pretty straightforward. Did have to make a few adjustments to factory assembly to get mounting brackets to fit. Instructions not clear about this. Product seems ok .will see about longevity.

Our 10 x8 shady spot.

Nicely done Aosom! Assembly was easy- even for one. Took a bit to even things out once it was up, but now, it's a breeze to open, enjoy the shade, and retract it back again. Thank you. Rick Reule P.S. pictures are coming once we are home again.

Excellent!

Very nice - good quality, inexpensive, fast shipping. A little tricky to put together, but not bad (about an hour). Looks durable, but time will tell. We have an extremely caustic oceanside setting, so we don't expect it to last more than a couple years - we will see!

The is a very good awning. I would buy it again. Took two men about? 1/2 hours to put together and install. It looks amazing and it's sturdy. For its price you can't beat it.

Works Great as a sun blocker

I ordered this awning to use as sun blocker over extended patio area for BBQ grills. Works Great as a sun blocker. Product is as advertised. I am very happy with my purchase. You'd better adjust the brackets after install or cover will not be level, very easy to adjust.

2 to 3 people to install

EASY TO INSTALL AND PUT TOGETHER. IT WORKS GREAT SO FAR. VERY STURDY AND ALL THE PIECES WERE THERE. ONLY THE FRONT VALANCE BRACKET WAS TRICKY , BUT IT ONLY TOOK 2 BOLTS TO FIX IT. I HAD IT BACKWARDS BECAUSE THE DIRECTIONS WERE HARD TO READ ON THAT PART , BUT OVERALL GREAT QUALITY. I HAVE IT COVERING MY BBQ ISLAND AND ITS PERFECT!
