    Disappointing

    I hate to leave a bad review, but this was a terrible purchase. This umbrella was extremely easy to install, and is really pretty. Unfortunately, within 2 days, it completely broke!! One of the bars bent and we were unable to open or close. Definitely a waste of money. I was unable to return it because my neighbor who installed it, left that morning for a business trip. It’s still hanging above my front door and looks terrible.

    Sun Shade

    What an excellent product. So happy with the quality and durability. It arrived in a timely fashion and was put up with the help of a friend. It took some time to install just because we wanted it perfect. I almost wish I had purchased two. Great product and so easy to open and close as needed.

    Great awning, great deal!

    We love this awning! With 30 years of IKEA experience, it only took a couple hours to assemble, and although the English of the instructions is a little funky ("The arms need up.") We only had to backtrack once to fix a part we had put on backwards. The hardest part was finding the studs to attach it to, and after that installation was a breeze. Now our deck is much more inviting on a hot sunny day, and no bother moving a heavy umbrella stand around. Yeah, for $1000 more, we could have gotten something more robust, but I think as long as we roll it in for wind and rain, it will be fine. Love it!

    Works as planned.

    Managed to assemble most of it by myself, but got one friend to help me position it into place on the wooden wall. Easy enough to open and close. Does the job, and for the price, it is great!

    Retractable Awning

    Assembly was pretty straightforward. Did have to make a few adjustments to factory assembly to get mounting brackets to fit. Instructions not clear about this. Product seems ok .will see about longevity.

    Excellent!

    Very nice - good quality, inexpensive, fast shipping. A little tricky to put together, but not bad (about an hour). Looks durable, but time will tell. We have an extremely caustic oceanside setting, so we don't expect it to last more than a couple years - we will see!

    Exactly what we wanted

    I am always skeptical about ordering online, but this one worked out perfectly. The delivery was a little longer than usual because of COVID, but was still faster than other places I've ordered from. As everyone says, the installation instructions are atrocious, but think logically, and you'll figure it out. The colour and design are excellent, and I like the slim profile when not in use. We attached ours to the side of a high deck over top of our hottub, and I didn't want to see it when I didn't need it. Our search started with hot tub umbrellas, and I sure wasn't spending that much money, so finding this was a welcome surprise. All in all, well worth the purchase.

    I'm delighted with this purchase.

    The is a very good awning. I would buy it again. Took two men about? 1/2 hours to put together and install. It looks amazing and it's sturdy. For its price you can't beat it.

    In Need of Shade

    I and my two brothers ( versed in repairs ) spent 5 hours installing this awning, the directions were at best. We finally finished, looks good however we¡¯ll see.Love it!

    2 to 3 people to install

    EASY TO INSTALL AND PUT TOGETHER. IT WORKS GREAT SO FAR. VERY STURDY AND ALL THE PIECES WERE THERE. ONLY THE FRONT VALANCE BRACKET WAS TRICKY , BUT IT ONLY TOOK 2 BOLTS TO FIX IT. I HAD IT BACKWARDS BECAUSE THE DIRECTIONS WERE HARD TO READ ON THAT PART , BUT OVERALL GREAT QUALITY. I HAVE IT COVERING MY BBQ ISLAND AND ITS PERFECT!

    It's not very easy to assemble if I had not watched the youtube video, without it, the instruction would be difficult to understand.overall good quality and it's a great add on to our patio.

    Extremely happy with this product!

    This awning is perfect for our deck. It was delivered quickly and everything was intact. The directions to assemble were a little odd to follow, but we figured it out. The product is sturdy and well made. Perfect!
