Stylish Pergola

I purchased this pergola for its style and functionality. The adjustable canopy helps us create shade from morning through late afternoon. The shipping boxes (3) arrived with minimal damage and the contents were not majorly affected. Only 2 pieces (feet) were slightly bent but assembly was not hindered. The instructions are very minimal; seven steps total. One does need to pay attention to the directionality of the 2 pieces labeled C1, but otherwise assembly was straightforward. The canopy leaves a bit to be desired though. It's a plastic mesh resembling cross stitch fabric so quite a bit of light is allowed through. I will likely replace it with higher quality awning material next season.

Damaged on Arrival, Nightmare to Return DO NOT PURCHASE

Do NOT buy this product. It arrived damaged and to return it I have to figure out a way to transport 10 and 12 foot poles to target. Customer service was of no help. The boxes were cut open to begin assembling only to find dents in the posts. I don’t have a way to rebox these posts and they will only schedule pick up if they are “properly” packaged. So I’m stuck with a $600 pile of scraps and Target does not care. I have never been so disappointed in Target’s customer service or use of untrustworthy vendors. Go to Amazon and find a similar product. At least with Amazon they assist you with returning damaged goods and don’t leave you with a $600 loss.
