This salon chair was purchased for my 5 yr old granddaughter as a Christmas gift. I like that the chair swivels but locks in place when it needs to be stationary. I think she'll love it for her doll. Only con is the hair styling tools that come with it. They seemed to be sized as if the doll would be doing the styling vs the child. I individual pieces are quite small.
