Press down really hard for electronics to work
The room is soooooo awesome. Initially I didn’t think the electronics worked and most of the reviews solidified this thought. But I was determined and knew the connections had to be correct. I literally banged and press hard on the top of the three walls and magically all the electronics worked! It has to be placed perfectly and then make sure you hear a click and press really hard! Lights, sound and the toilet flush. It is worth every penny! The wall with the batteries is key! Make sure it’s pressed down really good for proper flow!

Nice product but faulty electronics
I bought this set for my daughter’s birthday. It looks great and offers lots of playability. I’ve always been happy with Our Generation products and thought this would be a nice addition. However, after opening and setting it up, I was disappointed to find that none of the electronic features worked. I tried taking the set apart and reassembling it, as well as replacing the batteries with new ones, but still couldn’t get any of the electronics to function.

Do not buy
I was so excited for this room to come and when I received it , it was cracked on one wall and it doesn’t even have a sound to it. I changed the batteries twice and they were new. It’s $150 in the garbage. It can’t be returned because I got rid of the box trusting all would be well since my family loves target 😞

Not a functional toy
Lights and sounds don’t work. Like everyone else. Bought by grandma and now it’s a dud.

Great set, but electrical features do not work
Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before purchasing to realize that so many customers have had issues with the electrical part of this set. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loved it regardless, but I was really bummed to learn that the sounds and lights do not work. It didn’t seem like the issue would be fixed by exchanging it for another set as it seems to be a common issue. Otherwise, it is a really nice set. My daughter has played with it every day since she got it.

Defective Product... DO NOT BUY.
I bought this online from Target and the sound effects are not functional. I replaced it at the store with an new one; the Target employees were very helpful. And Shocker... This one has the exact same issue. Now, I've read the reviews and know this is a known issue and we are being sold a defective product.

Non functional lights and sounds
My daughter saved up her allowance just to purchase this all on her own. Immediately after putting this together, the lights above the chalkboard didn’t work but everything else seemed functional until the very next day when neither lights or sounds would work. We tried troubleshooting with OG customer care but they didn’t offer any other advice other than disassembling and reassembling, which is when the everything stopped working. We even tried two brands of new batteries and nothing. This is especially disappointing for my 5 year old who has saved all summer just to have a $150 toy that doesn’t make it past the first 24 hours. We are definitely leery of all the other OG products now.

Perfect for toddlers!

Large bedroom and accessories

It has the cutest accessories and they reallypaid attention to detail. The only downside is you cant get any of the electronics to work even with batteries.

Such a great quality toy!

I've never had a doll house before and the ones my daughter has is plastic. We got her an Our Generation dolly to enjoy the wonderful room. The quality is top notch with the wooden craftsmanship. Our generation large bedroom set w/ accessories
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from influencer in exchange of my honest review. Let’s just say my girls have been waiting for this to get here! We finally received it two days ago and got around to putting it together today. It was super easy to put together and it came with batteries which was great! It is a pretty good size as well. My girls absolutely love it and went straight to decorating it with all the cute accessories it came with. The light on the chalk board lights up but we can’t seem to get the songs to play or the toilet to make the “flush” sound. Overall it’s great and they love all the small detailed accessories it comes with! It’s the perfect bedroom for a doll. I highly recommend! Thanks influencer for letting us try this product out.

Fun to plat with but lights dont work
I like that my daughter loves playing with it. My reason for 2 stars is because the lights don’t consistently work. I’ve tried multiple ways to possibly fix the light issue but it hasn’t worked. :( also, the mirror is really nasty. It doesn’t look like a mirror at all.

Lights and sounds do not work belive the reviews
The bedroom set up is pretty cool pretty much as described but the whole electrical system is broken even with new batteries from my own stash they lights and sounds do not work and it says uper girl instead of super girl and one of the curtain holders is broken so one of the blinds are always open. I should have paid more attention to the reviews! Returning it isn’t an option so I guess we’re stuck with it now

None of the electronics work
This room is adorable. Very sizable and both my 8 year old daughter and three year old son love playing with it, with or without a doll. The company should stop putting electronics in these items or make them work individually. My engineer husband tried to rewire the piece to get anything to work to no avail. Company did respond to this complaint, but basically wanted to be in the room with proof it doesn’t work. Shame on you OG. This item is worth half its price at best.
