Q: is it glass jar?? and power 1400 w????
A: The information plate on the bottom of the blender - BLSTBIP - is: 120 Volts 3.75 Amps MAX That does not work out to 800 Watts. It's around 450 Watts.

Q: Is the jar supposed to lock in place? My jar doesn't lock in place, but when on, just turns a little bit. Is mine defective or is it not supposed to be locked in place?
A: Mine also does not lock in place. I am not sure if that is how it is designed.

Q: Does canning jars/mugs (non-decorative) fit this model? I want zero plastic alternatives to replace nutribullet/ninja. I heard the risk of jars breaking but I would buy it if they fit.
