A: Our meats are smoked and fully cooked, then sliced and packaged. We use a cellulose casing to give shape to our links and cold cuts during the cooking and smoking process. However, this casing is removed after processing and before product is packaged.

A: Great Question! Please note that nitrate and nitrite are closely related chemically. They are different compounds made from nitrogen and oxygen and are used in curing meats. They have been used to preserve color in packaged, cured meats. A secondary benefit is their ability to prevent the growth of bacteria that causes botulism. Hot dogs that do not contain sodium nitrite as a food additive are considered to be “uncured” by the USDA. We hope this helps.

Great dogs
These have a nice firmness to them. Theyre very juicy when we bbq them during the summer months. I love the amount of salt and all around flavor of these hot dogs. They're close to as good as a Nathan's

Got this order on November 3rd and the sell by date was October 15. I can’t walk so I do all my shopping through mobile pick ups and the only way to get this item credited was to return it back to the store…That I can’t walk into!! 🙄

They were gone and eaten right quick and were enjoyed immensely. The all beef is what makes me buy them. I don’t the ones that have a mixture of who knows what. With Oscar Meyer all beef I know what they are getting and so should you. Enjoy. Oh by the way some were boiled and some went on the barbecue so either way they were tasty.

There are no fillers and no by-products used at all, just 100% beef! Once you’ve tried these you won’t buy the others. My kids also loved these and said that they tasted so much better than the regular ones. I definitely recommend!

With a toddler and a preteen hotdogs are a must in our house! Quick, easy and something everyone loves! Over the camp fire is our favorite way to cook a hotdog!
