Oscar Mayer Ham & Cheese Loaf - 16oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love cheese so I was impressed by how well the cheese flavor blended with the ham, loved by how fresh the package kept the ham’s flavor and consistency.

This is one of my all time favorites! This was a struggle meal for the longest time now I love to eat them especially on a hot summer day! Just finished a pack this week!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging never changed. Still have to take the whole top off before taking the ham out. Taste like back in the days whenever I had Oscar Mayer. The cheese is a nice touch but when I take it out, some of the cheese doesn’t come with the ham.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the ham and cheese is mixed together in one slice. The best way to have it is when it is melted, and of course still add some more 🧀. If you dont have cheese in your house just get the best of both worlds in this one product.

The price is reasonable and on park for the value. The package seals pretty well to keep the freshness in. Cooks easily on stove top and if preferred tou can get a nice crisp to it.

The lunch meat came in a resealable package with 16 slices at 70 cal each. The sodium content was at 300 mg or 12%, which would be high number for someone on a low salt diet. The flavor of the ham and loaf have a taste taste more like baloney and the American cheese, overpowered the flavor of the meat. I made sandwiches with the ham and cheese loaf with sliced tomatoes and lettuce with Miracle Whip spread on whole wheat bread. The ham and cheese loaf did not get soggy or mushy. The packaging was easy to open and close. The ham and cheese loaf stayed as fresh from the day as it was opened to the last slice. The size of the container fitted easily in the deli drawer in my refrigerator. The ham and cheese loaf had a good meaty taste and a delicious aroma. The meat tasted as good the ham and cheese loaf that you would buy fresh from the deli counter. This ham and cheese loaf was a win in my family’s lunch selection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man what a blast from the past! I grew up on Oscar Mayer ham and bologna packs, but haven’t had them in a while. I tried the ham & cheese in a croissant sandwich with some Munster cheese (yes I’m a cheese monster I know). It was pretty good, about what you can expect from OM. Ham wasn’t too salty nor too thin, and was perfectly sized for a sandwich. It was pretty good. Next pack I might cut up the ham to smaller pieces and make my own lunchables for another classic!
