Finicky thermos top
I bought this because I was very excited about a hot and cold option. The thermos and the square around the thermos is really finicky. When I turn to close the lid, the thermos square always pops up and I end up turning endlessly. Each time, I have remove the thermos top and try again like 2 or 3 times until it closes correctly. This makes for frustrating mornings when we are already running late. My parents were supposed to help my daughter get ready for school and they are not happy about how hard the lid is to close. So when they take her, they choose not to even deal with Omie box. I wish it were easy to open and close. Then it would be perfect.

Overpriced overall. Thermos is good
I wish I could have returned this for the cost but we tested and used it. The seal doesnt stay good so I have to reinstall that with each use. The divider on the side is not a leak proof seal which is disappointing. The thermos does work well I can say and is a good size for young children. Overall not worth the money.

Bad product. Poor quality
I like this product. But there was one problem. My son kept getting sick because he kept on eating cold food because this cannot stay hot for long. Wrong choice and quality.

Seal does not stay on.
The seal on the lunch box and the thermos end up in the bottom of the lunchbox every day. They will not stay on.

Easy to open/close for my almost Kindergartener
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re practicing for Kindergarten next year and my kiddo loves his new omie box. It’s easy enough for him to open and close on his own, and the food in the thermos is always still warm when it gets around to lunch time

Not suitable for 4y/o kids
It says 3-7, but the 4 y/os in my class have difficulty opening and closing the stainless insulated thermos’ lid, not easy to match the threads and to turn smoothly, it gets stuck, so the outer lid can’t lock down. Any wet food that was in the thermos gets leak out to their backpacks 🤷🏽♀️

Disappointed with the quality of the product
I bought this less than a month ago. The design is practical. The rubber seal it came with was not installed. It is a poorly fitting rubber seal. I've tried putting it on multiple times and it keeps popping off. It's as if it wasn't even made for the lunch box. the dimensions for the seal are different than the dimensions of the box itself, kind of like those cheaply made Amazon products that should fit together but don't when you're building a DIY product. Pretty disappointed that for a lunch box that is so expensive they would send such a defective product. I send the lunch in My daughter's box when I need to send a hot meal but overall pretty disappointed with the quality of the product.

Great at first-- be ware, hinge falls apart
We were SO excited to join the cool kids with this darling lunch box. For the first few uses it seemed to be a perfect new addition but then the hinge pin came out on the lid and we can't find it and so the box lid doesn't close properly and things started leaking. Really bummed.

Wish I could purchase only thermos
I wish you could just buy the thermos. This won’t fit in any of my son’s lunch bags. I would love to purchase an extra thermos but not even an option.

Very practical
My daughter loves this lunch box. I love how practical and easy to open it is for her. It has a handle and its leak proof so you can pop it into their backpack without another cooling bag to avoid bulk.

Too expensive for the end result.
Even though the bottom of the product says dishwasher safe, it has water inside the box from the dishwasher and the policy is not to replace. I have 4 children, I can't remember which item is halfway dishwasher safe, remove the label from the bottom. In any case, we use this box the least because. The bento up box makes me sense and I regret buying this product as my kid toddlers can't seem to manage a backpack and a lunch bag

Not what I expected…
I wanted to really like this lunchbox after all the great reviews that I read online however I was greatly disappointed. I found out that it really works great to keep foods that have liquid hot. But it does a horrible job at keeping things like chicken nuggets, pieces of steak, chicken fillet, grilled shrimp hot. Basically, any protein will not stay hot. I have found that I have needed to pull out the Thermo completely and I am only using the lunch box portion which completely defeats the purpose of this lunchbox.
