One of my doctors recommended lions mane which he told me there was evidence that it may help repair nerves. It was easy to see that it worked because every time I ran out, I started having problems again.Many years later I was diagnosed with stage four cancer. I started researching and found that turkey tail may be effective in helping to fight cancer. It’s hard to tell what worked, but I did not have much of a problem with chemotherapy. My doctors and nurses said they’ve never had anybody say that. I had no problems with nausea or any of the other typical side effects of chemotherapy. It’s been over two years since my last treatment and there’s no evidence of return of the disease. I can’t say that it was turkey tail because there haven’t been enough studies, but I believe it definitely played apart in me having an easier time than most of the people I know. I have decided to take turkey tail forever! Just in case.
