Good idea bad product
Great idea and concept but the usability of the grip is horrible. It takes 2 hands to open and is very small and flimsy. I like how thin it is and how it works without removing on MagSafe but I much prefer my standard plastic popsocket. At least that gives my confidence in bonding the phone but the grip and accommodates adult fingers. Hopefully I can still return this $40 piece of metal.

Peeling Product
This white product will NOT stay white. It is some sort of coating that will aggressively peel off the metal magsafe part and leave just the bare metal. It is annoying and ugly. I do not recommend this color compared to the other colors where the magsafe ring is only metal and no peeling coating on the metal.

It’s...ok
feels nice enough, function is ok at best. Doesn’t really pop out, spin, or function the way they promote it. Kudos, though, marketing is better than the product and you got me to buy one!

Plastic Holder Wears Out
BEWARE, the plastic is cheap and wears out very easily and will stop closing. It’s unique in its design in that the center piece that holds the cap and the base together folds in on itself. But it’s very easy for the plastic to wear out and unstraighten the skinny thin vertices. ESPECIALLY if you hold it finger style. It will bend them out of shape eventually and will stop closing, and will UN-snap. And I have skinny little fingers so it’s not like I’m stretching the plastic out like crazy.

Nope. Don't. Just didn't work.
Awful. MUCH too fragile. Within a week parts were bent and it didn't close properly. WAY to expensive for what it was. I wanted to like it, but just not a decent product. Go buy something more practical for cheaper. Two stars because the magnet worked.

Mostly great
Upgraded from the previous version. Like the lack of sticky adhesive, however the wireless charging through the grip is not as great as the previous version. Sat on the wireless charger overnight (yes, verified it was connected) and did not charge the battery. Used portable charger today, also did not allow charging like the previous model. Good thing it is easily removed so I can still wirelessly charge my phone.

Major Downgrade from the Snap Grip 4
I wish I could write something positive here. This is a super nice grip. But after receiving this when I had previously owned a Snap Grip 4 it's like they upgraded one part of it and downgraded two other part so they could sell more accessories. They probably have some scientific reason why the magsafe charging doesn't work anymore. Or why it falls off the GPS mount. But the fact is all of this worked great on the Oh Snap 4. Bring back the Oh Snap 4 and quit trying to boost profits off your happy customers!!

Great use but it gets hot when charging
Great function. Small, minimal, easy to use. All that is perfect. My only issue is that it gets quite hot when charging. I don’t know it that is good or bad for my phone, battery or charger. This does concern me.

Quality
The rubber stretch things that they use to keep the disc to the magnet weakens and stretch after a few uses. Not the best design for long term. And the circle stand piece doesn’t completely stay magnetically clean if flops a bit. Way over priced for this piece of plastic

Wanted to really like this
I was excited to receive my first Snap Grip and I really tried to like it. Unfortunately, it does not work for me for a couple of reasons. First, the size of the finger hold is too small for my fingers. I don't think I have particularly large hands and fingers, but it is so tight I feel like my fingers will go numb if I use it for too long. secondly, it does not allow for a strong MagSafe connection to a wireless charger. The phone fell off the charging stand in the middle of the night.I do like that is is very thin, but also am concerned that being that thin may impact in the long term for not breaking. It may be perfectly fine, but I do worry a bit about that

Great marketing, ok execution
As a phone grip/kickstand/fidget thing it’s perfect. My biggest gripe is the one thing I was most excited for and that’s its magnetic performance. Light pulling pressure at the right angle and it will pop off the back of the phone. Most pro models of phones over 6 ounces will slide down on metal surfaces because they are too heavy for the magnets to keep up with if attached vertically.Deploying and then gripping the product at first felt clunky and confusing but one can adjust to it after some time.

Very highly disappointed. The grip easily came off of my phone. I would not purchase this again.

Good
This newer one is better than the first one. It stays on my phone now verse coming off on my iPhone mount. Only thing is, now it doesn’t stick to surfaces as well as my Snap 4.

OH SNAP
I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase of SANAP GRIP. The quality looks excellent, and performs exactly as expected, and I would definitely recommend it.

Mixed feelings
This is my second grip from these guys and both have been very very good. The kickstand feature is awesome and the ability to stick to any metal surface is great. It doesn’t snag on your pockets and is thick enough to keep your iPhone camera lenses from getting scuffed on surfaces. I don’t typically use the wireless charging since my grip is attached tot he outside of a case and that seems to really drop the power transfer rate. The 5 feels very natural, comfortable and sturdy But I have some negatives as well. IAfter almost two years with my first snap grip attached to the outside of a smooth case the adhesive on the back started to fail and I ended up removing it and cleaning off the glue. After this the grip started having a stronger attachment to whatever it was stuck to than my phone case and I ended up losing it one day. Bottom line: the external magnets are stronger than the internal ones keeping it attached to your phone and I preferred the adhesive on the back. Now that I have the new version with no option for adhesive I worry about the same issue causing me to lose my grip again. I wish they offered a choice of glue or no glue because I would bet that many customers are looking for a very permanent attachment that won’t slip off at the gym.

NO Charge Thru on 5
I have had the 4 for years and love it. Then the 5 comes out and you cannot charge thru with it and it doesn't stay on as well as the 4.

Dirty
The outer ring changed colors in less than a month. Now a brown color and nothing will clean it off

Short lived.
I received a Snap Grip 5 as a warrantied replacement for my Snap Grip 4, which lasted under a year before the scissor mechanism was malfunctioning. Unfortunately, my Snap Grip 5 was even shorter lived, as they got rid of the adhesive that helped secure it to your phone or case, relying only on magsafe. I pulled my phone out of my pocket after work to discover the grip is completely missing from my magsafe case. Considering how pricey these things are I don't feel like I got my money's worth. Disappointing because the thin design, multiple grip methods, fidgetability, and magnet hold are all cool features I didn't see in other options. I wish I could have received a Snap Grip 4 instead and still had the adhesive.
