This looks nothing like the color that was displayed. It's way more dark and ugly. It looks terrible with my lips with or without liner and it's absolutely insane how I paid six dollars for this and it doesn't look like anything that I would pay for if I knew that it looked like this I wouldn't have got it either. They reformulated it or this is a straight lie.

Nice buildable color
I purchased the black shade as a goth baddie and I love it!! On first application it’s sheer but it’s a very buildable formula that doesn’t get stringy or sticky the more you apply. As the name states it’s very buttery and smooth on the lips and it glides easily, leaving my lips feeling soft. My only slight problem is that since it’s a gloss I do have to reapply after about an hour but it’s super simple to just pop on throughout the day!!

This lip gloss is really great. It is kind of sticky, but that just helps it stay longer. The packaging is great, super no nonsense and very functional. It’s also very well pigmented and goes on smoothly.

I absolutely LOVE the NYX butter gloss lip products! As a professional makeup artist, I use them on myself and on my clients ALL THE TIME! They aren’t sticky at all and they have the prettiest color payoff. The finish is glossy and hydrating without being sticky. They go on as such a sheer wash of color which I also love! They blend well with lip liners underneath.
