Great food
Smells like standard dog food but they eat it and it works for my sensitive stomach dogs. Keeps them full with once a day feeding. Typical dog bag.

I tried it , for my dog and because I was curious and it tastes awful, has an awful after taste and I ever tasted any lamb. I love my dog too much and I’m always looking for good dog food.

Healthy kibble
For the price and great ingredients it’s definitely a great choice for your fur baby! The packaging is great and keeps food fresh love that it’s recyclable as well. my dog enjoys it very much and helps with his digestion. the little kibbles are a great texture and not to big or small and does not have a super strong oder like other brands. I really enjoy this brand and think it’s a pretty healthy choice!

Product is good ingredients
My dog love this brand, the protein and fat content seems to be good. Ingredients are better than most companies. By-product isn't the first ingredient which is nice. I recommend people to give this a shot but obviously no dog likes the same food, so don't be afraid to rotate through other brands if this doesn't work for your pup. The price is high but it’s definitely worth

Deceptive packaging -This is not "no chicken"
How can Nutro claim there is no chicken on the front of the Lamb & Rice package when the ingredients on the back list CHICKEN MEAL & CHICKEN FAT ?????

This is my dog’s favorite dog food and was approved by our vet as healthy for her. She’s 14 now and a bigger dog so I’d say it’s working well. I only wish my closest Target always had it in stock.

Great food... but...
I have been using this brand of food for years with many dogs. It is alao the only food that my lab and sheltie can stomac (and I have tried over 30 different brands) but, my lab gobbles the large breed food because the kibble is so small. Even with a slow feeder bowl, he inhales it. I have tried even 1 piece at a time, nope doesn't chew. This is the only brand I have seen that has such small sized kibble for their large breed kibble. I am truly hoping that Nutro eventually makes their kibble size larger in the large breed lamb and rice as to help prevent bloat and clean teeth. Over all other than kibble size this brand is amazing.

Love the food, but....
I really love this food for my 2 dogs as it is the only food that I can give my lab with food allergies. But my Lab gobbles it without ever chewing it (even with a slow feeder bowl). I give him the large breed lamb and rice, but the pieces are small. Nutro I really wish and hope you would make the kibble size larger for large breed dogs so they will actually chew the kibble to prevent bloat and to help clean teeth. Other brands have way larger kibble size for large breed dogs.

Our Goldens thrive on this food
We have been using this food for several years and all have thrived on it. We have had some Golden rescues with skin, coat, and ear problems that healed up just fine with Nutro lamb and rice large breed.

Great product
We have been using Nutro Large breed Lamb for 5 years. Our Saint Bernard is very picky and has skin issues. She only eats Lamb flavor, she loves Nutro. We've tried other brands, she turns her nose up at it. Nutro doesn't upset her stomach like some other brands, she doesn't get itchy skin either. Great products. We also use Nutro for our cat and Pyrenees.

My dog has food allergies and this is the first th
My dog is allergic to chicken and it took us a long time to figure it out. The vet recommended we get a really expensive prescription diet for her and if we had not been able to find something else we probably would’ve had to surrender her because we could not afford to feed her that food. This brand is by no means cheap. It’s expensive but the food is a premium quality, and it is about 10 times cheaper than the prescription diet we were recommended. This was the first food that we tried that didn’t cause my dog to throw up or have a bathroom emergency. We have sons found other comparable options within the same price range or slightly cheaper that don’t cause her to flare up, but this food will forever have a place in my heart as the one that worked when nothing else did.

We buy just tens
We buy just tens of pounds of this food for our dog. (We have 120lbs great pyrenees). She loves it! Food also rarely goes bed, in spite of us getting jumbo sizes. Our dog seem to be very healthy, her fur, teeth, nails are good and grow very fast. She seem too be a very happy and active do too. Overall very pleased with her food brand.

I have 5 dogs and with this they are all finally on the same food. They are happy & energetic with healthy weights, normal poops, and they love their kibble, all around win in my opinion!
