I had high hopes for this, but was disappointed. I will say the smell is very nice, but it gets everywhere. id rather ch a nice white residue than use this product again. I love every product Ive tried from them except this one. when my hear moved I had the brown residue on my face and anytime I touched my hair there was brown residue all over my hands and under my nails. It did not matter how much I rubbed it in, it was still everywhere. I put it in in the morning and I still had residue on my hands that night. It never set in my hair. 0/10 do not recommend.

Works great, but residue is a dealbreaker
Works great, blends well with dark hair, and smells good, too! BUT, the residue is really bad. If I scratch my scalp, I have brown under my fingernails. Also, my bangs will leave brown stains on my forehead. Overall, it works great, but the residue is so strong that I won’t be purchasing again.

Beware of the residue! It stains
It did remove the excess oil in my hair but it left dark stains around my hairline even after brushing it out some. It also stained my fingers & forehead with the dark residue. I would never purchase this again. There are better dark hair dry shampoos on the market that don’t stain your skin & clothing.

It does well on the actual purpose of dry shampoo but if you run your hand through your hair after using your hands are full of the dark residue. Other dark dry shampoos don’t do that. And when you wash it after the amount of dark residue that comes out is insane. So annoying don’t wear a white shirt with it!!

It gets the job done, but there is so much residue that it transfers onto your forehead and you absolutely cannot touch your scalp after using without needing to go wash your hands. Would definitely not repurchase, but will finish the bottle. Bautiste’s brunette dry shampoo has far less residue and works equally well if not even better.

Would rather deal with white cast from usual dry shampoo!
I really wanted to like this product :( but definitely defeats the purpose of a dry shampoo- it leaves a dark residue that you can’t see but the moment you run your fingers through your hair, it makes your fingernails look so dirty and it’s embarrassing. Might as well wash your hair!

I could not make this work. My hair has been coming out in clumps since using this. It has way too much pigment no matter how little you use- like to the point you need to cover your part when you spray it. It gets on everything as well. I only sprayed it on my roots and it transferred to my face and my hands every time. Hairspray does not help either. I also can’t get passed the feel of it, it’s so thick and gritty. I would not recommend this at all.
