please, bring the old formula back!
i share the same sentiment that many others do here. the og formula left behind a gorgeous sheen on the skin and seemed to be much richer in almond oil. it was thick to the point of even being slightly difficult to rub in, but in my mind, that was a worthy tradeoff because the results were like no other. my skin was like BUTTER for days. this new formula is much runnier, a bit more watery, and feels now like an average, run of the mill lotion. the mositurization level is medicore and my skin goes back to feeling dry within a day. pleeeeaaase hear our feedback and revert it back! don't mess with a classic! :(

New Formula = No Moisture. I’m Done!
I’m really disappointed with the new reformulation of the NIVEA Essentially Enriched Body Lotion. This lotion used to be a staple in my home — I bought multiple bottles at a time for every member of my household because it kept our skin velvety, smooth, and deeply moisturized. The new formula is nowhere near the same. It no longer hydrates, my skin feels dry again within hours, and you can feel the difference immediately upon application. It truly seems like the quality of ingredients has declined. After years of loyalty, I’ve had to switch products. Very disappointing that such a great formula was changed.

Horrible, strong smell!!!
This lotion is so incredibly moisturizing but I can not use it because of the horribly strong perfume smell. It gave me a bad sinus headache and made my sinuses swell. Why does Nivea have to make every lotion smell so bad???

Why would you change such an iconic and loved lotion? I have used Nivea essential lotion on my body from face to feet my ENTIRE LIFE. My mother used it her entire life. I am 50 now and cannot believe that I have to find a new lotion now. At the very least you should have given us the option to try the new whilst still having the original available. You guys missed the mark on this one. I am truly devastated by this. My mother passed away 11 years ago and through the original scent, I always think of her. Yes, I'm devastated.

HATE the new smell and texture
I have used NIVEA enriched body lotion for decades, but will be switching to a different product. I HATE this 72 hrs serum - the texture is different (more oily), and it smells like a baby powder. I will miss the original smell and texture of this lotion, so disappointed. This is totally different product now, and should be sold separately.

I am so bummed that this lotion is no longer available where I can easily find and order the 32 oz bottle. The fragrance is the BEST! Now, my choice seems to be the version with hyaluronic acid added, but not a great fragrance. Why do companies continually take something great and replace it with something inferior? Bring back the Essentially Enriched with DEEP NOURISHING SERUM

I don't like the new "72 hour" product
The "72 hour" product smells just like the baby lotion that came in the pink bottle when I was a kid in the early 70s - not good! It goes on my skin like a thick sticky layer. Not smooth and softening like the formula I used just months ago. It also seems to be clogging my pores, which was never the case with the original formula. Why are you changing a great product into an undesirable product.

Bring back the old formula!
I’ve been using this lotion for over a decade and loved it for both face and body. I stockpile it because I go through so many bottles. But now that they changed the formula, I may need to find a new lotion. It smells like a sunscreen or tanning lotion, and as someone sensitive to smells and who uses this lotion daily on my entire body, it makes me feel nauseous. I’m so disappointed. Please please please bring back the old formula without he hyaluronic acid - something about adding that to the new formula just ruins this lotion.

Great lotion
I have very dry skin. In the winter months, it's so bad. I'm constantly wasting money trying lotions that are cheap to very expensive. I bought Nivea for the first time ever. When I first opened the bottle, the scent and texture made me think of sunblock. It goes on like sunblock as well. Once it's rubbed in, my skin is so soft. All signs of dryness is gone. Even the heels of my feet are not so scaly looking. I apply to my arms, legs, and feet after every shower. And again before bed. Don't ever change the formula! Every time I try simmering new and love it, the formula changes and it becomes horrible. My skin is sensitive to a lot of scents to where I will normally break out into a rash. I'm able to rub the excess lotion from my hand onto my face (at night only) and have not had any issues.

The BEST!
This is the best lotion I've ever tried, period. My skin is very sensitive (dry and itchy and break out easily) and I've tried all the usual suspects including "pharmacy" grade ones. Nothing has been as effective as this lotion. Also, I burned my forearm pretty badly a couple of months ago and this lotion has been amazing at softening the area once it was healed. I absolutely love it. My 17 year old is also hooked on it, she says nothing softens her elbows like this lotion.!
