Made from solid rubberwood, it is purposefully designed for compact everyday use. Upholstered in faux leather and padded with foam, the Nikko is ideal for the conservatory, kitchen or your living room. Angular wood frame gives a nod to mid-century style, combining Scandinavian design with lux colonial wood in cocoa finishing and complementing the espresso-toned upholstery for a moody palette steeped in classic masculinity. Made in Malaysia, the Nikko requires assembly. Overall pleased with purchase.

Overall happy with my purchase. Actually quite sturdy and comfortable for a chair that needs to be assembled. Speaking of assembly. As noted in other reviews. Directions were terrible but I eventually figured it out. The chair is on the smaller size but was actually exactly what I was looking for. For an accent/extra chair for visitors to sit in and was perfect for our space. Only other comment: Definitely more black than brown!
