Size runs small but the quality is good

It runs small. I ordered a medium because I wanted it to fit like a size 7–8, but it was too tight and felt more like a small. My daughter is 6 years old and very skinny, and it still tight. I wanted to return it and exchange for a size large, but it was sold out and we needed it sooner. Besides that, we love it! The quality is good and I would buy again just a bigger size.
