Target disappoints again.
Not a review of the jersey, but rather of the Target in Danvers, Ma. This is the 3rd time in less than 2 months that I’ve ordered something via my app to pick up in store, that is actually not in stock. They wait until exactly the 2 hour mark to inform me that the item isn’t available, leaving me empty handed for a children’s secret Santa taking place in an hour. Had they given me another 30 mins, I would have had time to fly to lids or Dicks to grab something else, but they chose to wait until 1 hr and 51 mins to notify me and thats absolutely crappy. I’ve worked retail. There are 3 things that top the list of service excellence- treating each customer as if they are the priority, maintaining consistency in pricing labels, and staying vigilant with regards to inventory management. Target fails 2/3 today
