    Absolutely Plug and Play Garage Heater

    I have tried other garage heaters, but usually smaller 1500w space heaters don't do a very good job and trip breakers. The Newair 5600w does require 240v but never tripped my 30amp breaker, and puts out a lot more comfortable heat than a typical space heater. I was also pleasantly surprised that the outer shell of the heater stays cool to the touch! Very pleased with this heater in my 2 car garage.

    Great heater for a 2 Stall residential garage.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Northern Indiana. I have a 2 Stall (25x25) insulated residential car garage. I wanted an electric heater instead of propane or kerosene because of the fumes and natural gas because I didn't want to vent it and run both electric and gas to operate it. I looked at tractor supply and local box stores but couldn't find anything on the shelf that was portable that I could set on a work bench. I googled electric box garage heaters and a advertisement for Newair came up. I ordered the G56 (5600 watt) heater and it shipped from California to Elkhart Indiana in 5 days via FedEx. I have only used it twice in the garage so I can was my truck during the winter months. I am extremely happy with how it works. I would definitely buy this again. It heats up my garage pretty quick and shuts off depending on where I set the heat setting. It's not loud, just the sound of the blower motor.

    Holds up longer than other brands.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. The old unit ran for 3 years in a greenhouse. The thermostat gave out. I was disappointed that I couldn't just get a replacement thermostat, I was offered a percentage off a new unit. This one is slightly difficult to set to a steady temperature, but heats the greenhouse well. Hopefully it'll last 4 or 5 years.

    Effective heater at a good price!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this heater in my single car garage workshop to take the chill out (from 30-40 degree range) and maintain a comfortable working temperature. This is a small and easy to handle unit but it gets me to a desirable temp within 10 minutes or so. As there is not a dedicated on /off switch, I unplug the unit when not in use. Require a 30 amp circuit with a 6-30 plug. The unit is well priced and arrived in perfect condition within a few days of ordering. This heater meets my expectations

    Perfect for the Garage!

    We were looking for a heater to keep our game room warm, and this is just what we needed! It's small enough to not be in the way, yet powerful enough to warm up the whole garage. Love that it has the overheat protection and it's portable. Best purchase ever!

    Don't waste

    My wife and I have bought over a dozen things from newair but this is the worst thing we have ever got from them . It gets warm fan makes noise at startup never gets hot. Have tried using thermostat control and just turning it on and only goes warm. Run all day to heat up 6'x12' bathroom to dry mud and won't get room above 59 mover it into room 10x12 for drywall mud to dry and still same thing. It gets warm air nothing hot don't see anything getting hot or the orange glow inside to make it hot . Very disappointed in this unit and would not recommend this

    Loved this heater for 11 months

    I have this heater installed in my detached workshop (~600 sq ft) and it worked like a champ and kept my shop nice and cozy through the winter months here in PA until the fan failed. The good news is Newair has excellent customer service and a free replacement is on the way!

    Just what I needed for my workshop

    I have a 24' x 24' workshop. I looked at more expensive and complex heating options. I'm glad I found the NewAir heater. It provides the heat I need and the fan moves air sufficiently.

    Love the heater/service after mechanical issue

    I had the heater for my garage gym/ shop which was about 800 square ft. This heater is very powerful! I would use a propane heater during the colder winter months to get it to a quick high temperature, and then use the Newair to maintain. My unit had an arc on the power cord that caused my unit to trip my breaker. I notified NewAir and they sent me a new unit out immediately. I would recommend!

    Superb Garage Heater

    I use this heater to heat my 24' X 24' garage. It is a superb litter heater. When I opened the carton I was surprised to see how small the heater was and was a little concerned that it might have difficulty heating my oversized garage. I couldn't have been more pleased with its performance. Within 15 minutes this little heater raised the temperature of my garage from 40 degrees F to 60 degrees F. Now that I have been using it for a couple of months, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Furthermore, I haven't noticed any significant change in my electricity bills. I would highly recommend this little unit and would definitely purchase again.
