Q: Hello! Just wanted to clarify that this item is both a router AND a modem, correct? I would not need to get an additional modem or router to set things up right? Just an ISP connection and I would be all set for in-home wifi? Thanks in advance!
A: That is correct, the C7000 is a modem/router combo (called a gateway), so you do not need an additional modem.

Q: Will this work with Atlantic Broadband?
A: You should check the Atlantic Broadband website for their list of certified devices. If the C7000 is on the list then you will be fine, but if it is not then normally the ISPs will not allow any modems that they haven't certified to connect to their system.

Q: This product is listed as compatible with 960mbps download speeds yet on other sites it's listed as 400 or 500. How do I best take advantage of 1 gig internet service?
A: This modem is not compatible with gig speeds.
