I'm not rating the item as I have not opened it yet. I am rating the process, which is completely unsatisfactory and costly to Target. I ordered the item on November 23 and was told that it would be delivered by Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving. It didn't arrive by Nov. 28 so I called Target and was told that the order had been delayed. No reason given and I had not received notice of a delay. I was told that it would be delivered within a couple of days. I waited until December 4, 2025 to check again, having not received any type status report from Target. During the call, with no information on the status other than it was still delayed, I asked for a refund. This request was honored quickly and satisfactorily. On December 6 I received word via email that my order would arrive today. This was an hour and 25 minutes prior to a notice via email that credit for my refund had been given to my credit card. Six hours later the item ordered arrived. In the meantime I was sent an email from Target telling me to keep, donate, or recycle the item. I will be donating it (its original intent). However, I just thought that you might like to know that with better communication with the customer on the status of an order Target could achieve both purposes, satisfy the customer and avoid loss of revenue. FYI. Thank you for the gift!
