The F-4 Phantom was arguably the US Navy's greatest ever fighter, performing a multitude of roles at the heart of the fleet's carrier operations. About the Author

Mads Bangsø is an aviation artist and researcher with many years of experience, who specializes in recreating Cold War aircraft. Mads takes pride in creating detailed, accurate, photorealistic renditions of aircraft. His historical work features in numerous publications and books, while he has also designed many real aircraft paint schemes for the Royal Danish Air Force. Mads has explored a wide variety of mediums, but now prefers to work digitally. He also teaches physics at a junior college.
