Great!
I used this backpacking and camping and felt it held up well. I can't say anything about weight (and what it should feel like) as I'm not experienced in either.

great value
Eliminated this on our first backpacking trip. Set it up light-weight and simple. We had rain and nothing got wet on the inside. Overall a great purchase.

Buy it
Used it twice this summer, it's a great tent. Not had the tarp bottom I'm looking for, but it works very nicely!

Great quality two person tent
This tent is the perfect fit for me, at 5'4', mg 6'2' husband and our 40 lb dog, who I think consumes more space than my hubby.

Great tent
On a two-night hiking trip, I carried this tent and found it to be quite lightweight and easy to erect and dissemble!

Why is it transparent?
The tend is very good, good quality materials. BUT, It falls short in a very fundamental sense: you lack internal privacy.

Endured a storm!
During a storm at the Zion National Park, we kept cozy and dry within the tent. Very easy to put up and put down! Love the vibrant orange color!

Great backpacking tent
Not as light as the ultralight tents, which run several hundred but far more comfortable. Has nice features.

A nice tent, but not for someone who likes to camp
Bought this because I wanted a lightweight two person backpacking tent. This isn't it. It's a fine tent, It fulfills its aim. You could, however, improve. Just make a decent tent investment; it pays off.

Great little tent
I've had the two person orange tent for three seasons now held up during an extreme thunderstorm in the Rocky mountains. This is an excellent option if you search for a reasonably priced basic tent that can withstand wind and keeps you dry.

Little small
Little but for two individuals. Over all, a decent tent kept us largely dry throughout a thunderstorm. Would be better if the roof was done shaped instead of triangle.

good tent!
Designed for basic Colorado Rockies camping, I bought this and found it to be quite useful a couple times already. Perfect for two people, nice to have two openings to it. Rain fly worked perfectly. No complaints!
