This dog food is highly appreciated for its healthy ingredients and affordability. Many guests report that their dogs, even picky eaters, love the taste and have shown improvements in digestion and coat health. However, some guests with specific breeds like Pomeranians have noted adverse effects. The small kibble size is perfect for small breeds, and the resealable packaging is convenient.

Thank you!
Thank you for making these small pieces of kibble.......my senior girl is finally loving her meals. I am very happy with the ingredients, and she is happy with the kibble size.

itsy bitsy
I was so surprised when I opened the bag. yes, the bag said it was for small dogs but I never expected this. they were teeny tiny little pieces of dog food. it's so perfect for the small breed, puppies or elderly dogs. it's about the half the size of a tic tac.

Why change size of kibble
My dog has been eating this food for 2 years. She loved it. The last bag was the tiny ball like kibble, not the flat ones. She hates it, won't touch it. Stop changing things, now we have to find another food.

Changed
My dogs have been eating this food for about 2 years. They loved it. This last bag was weird looking kibbles and my dogs refused to eat it. Why the change?? We had to change dog food brand. I'm not happy and this brand lost a loyal customer.

Thanks for making the kibble smaller!
I have been using this brand for awhile now; but thought the kibble was too big and switched to puppy for my 15 year old Yorkie & 9 year old Chorkie to make it easier for them to chew. A week or so ago, I went to the store and the puppy kind was out, so I bought the small breed again and noticed the kibble is much smaller than previously. My dogs are extra happy, which makes me extra happy!

PEAS!
I feed my dog the small breed chicken, barley, and brown rice recipe. It has always been 5 stars, no complaints and great ingredients. It seems like they are trying to replace that recipe with this chicken & sweet potato & grain free recipe (both bags have the same picture of the same dog, both are small breed). The issue is that this "grain free" recipe has peas as one of the main ingredients which is very harmful to your pet's stomach and is the number one item my vet warns against. Natures Recipe seems to be pandering to parents fear of "healthy" ideas about grain-free and sweet potato when they are really putting in cheap and easy ingredients for them, that are actually dangerous for our pups. It would be fine if someone needed to buy this recipe, but don't discontinue a great recipe!

My dog eats it
Our dog Zoey has never eaten dry food without wet food mixed in. But this was in her dish and she ate it straight. It has great ingredients. It also costs less than premier food.

Bad smell
Lately, the smell has been horrible! I’ve decided I am no longer going to buy. My dog refuses to eat the food. It used to be good but I don’t know what has changed.

Small Breed
I have five small dogs and I got the small breed for mine. The bites are so big it chokes them. They have no teeth so they need a little bites and that's what I thought it was but these bites are way too big for even small dogs with no teeth. They like it, but it's just too big. I had to give it away. Waste of money.

My babies like it!
I was looking for another alternative of food for my dogs. With this economy prices are to the roof. I used to buy a brand specially for my senior dog who has stomach problems and this one hasn’t make her tummy upset

Not good for our Pomeranians.
Our dogs (1pomeranian 1 Pom/Chi) loved this. We started them on it a few years ago. We started noticing our full Pom losing her hair. She has something called black skin disease which is alopecia for Pomeranians. There are two main causes diet and too short of hair cuts. We also started noticing it starting on our Pomchis backside. We have stopped this food and switched to homemade dog food. We can already see the hair growing back. This food was something they loved, our Pomchi is VERY picky, but we just can’t do it anymore. For other breeds this is probably a great choice. Just beware if you have a Pom.

Less pricey grain free food but it has potatoes
This is just ok. The price is right if you're looking for a grain free dog food. However there is sweet potato which we've been told is not good for dogs, defeating the purpose of grain free. Our dog is a chow hound so she'll eat anything!

Dog Food
The dogs seem to like this and it seems as hood as their old food. I have two dogs over 10 years and one who is just over a year old. All the dogs seemed to do fine on this.

Nice packaging
This dog food comes in a nice resealable bag so you don't have to transfer to a sealed container. It doesn't smell as bad as other dogfood brands and my dog enjoyed it.

Easy
Rambo loves trying new foods. He likes this one because the bites aren't too big and they are easy on his stomach. It's an interesting flavor to him.
