Q: What are the care requirements? Came without any instructions. Thanks

submitted by BANANA TREE - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi BANANA TREE, thanks so much for reaching out! Dwarf Pomegranate are typically grown indoors, so some of the first 'quality of life' things you can do to best care for the plant would be to repot it into a container about 2 inches larger than the one its currently in. Pomegranate prefer well draining soil, so a potting mix with bark or perlite would be best to assist with drainage. Water when the soil is dry to the touch and make sure you saturate the soil evenly. These plants prefer full sun, so you can move it outdoors in the summer. When caring for it indoors, keep it near a south facing window if possible, as that will receive the most sunlight. I hope you find this answer to be helpful!

submitted by Jessica - 5 years ago
  • A: Hello - although these are considered edible, we do not recommend eating them as they do not have the best taste. Thank you - National Plant Network
