No UV light or instructions included
Great toy..bought it for my almost 5 yr old and he is obsessed.. requires supervision due to the choking hazard. Only concern was that it did not come with instructions but we were quickly able to figure it out. The set also did not come with the UV light like some others have mentioned so we have been using our phone flashlight. A bit disappointed about the UV light not being there as it takes a bit longer for the marbles to glow and my very excited child has a hard time waiting.

Not enough pieces to really put together a proper marble run. Bought the 150 piece by same company and it's night and day. Skip this version and go for a bigger version.

Okay but kinda disappointed.
Got it for my son for Christmas. Biggest disappointment is that it didn’t come with instructions like it said. Had a little pamphlet but no help really. Won’t return because it was on sale but wouldn’t keep it had I paid full price. Had to figure out how to use the pieces on our own or looking at the box.

I ordered this online for my nephew and when I received the package the box was smooshed and torn and the pieces fell out of the original packaging. I had to return it to a local store to get a refund and to purchase a new one in store. I’m a bit disappointed the store shipped me a package in that horrific condition.

Hours of fun
My little and I spent hours building , taking apart , and building again. This was such a fun thing for her . So many combinations and all a success. Got a super cute video but unfortunately it wont allow me to attach, but this set is seriously so cool. The glowing of the marbles is just an added fun touch

Marble run is family fun
I received this product for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. My kids were so excited when they saw this and so was my husband. They had a great time setting it up different ways and seeing how it worked. It is very sturdy. I didn't give it five stars because if you want to have a LOT of fun, then you have to buy two sets so you can do more tracks with it. But overall it was a great family project! Everyone loved the glow in the dark feature.

Great Quality & Fun
My kids 9&11 both really enjoyed putting this together. 50 pieces come in the box along with a ton of marbles and a little light that you can shine on them to make them glow in the dark. Would definitely consider buying this for my 5&6 yo nephews as well.

So much fun!
My boy really had so much fun with this marble run kit. There are any number of ways they can set this up to run the marbles. The marbles move thru the maze quickly and they are so excited to see them pop out at the bottom.

Fun
This is a fun little marble set. There is a picture on the manual inside the box that shows the set mostly constructed. I was able to to add on the remaining pieces without issue. The marbles glow in the dark by shining a small UV light on them for a few seconds. The light is included in the box. The butting can be a little difficult to hold down for a young child. My 9 year old can do it without issue but says it hurts his fingers. The marbles stay lit up for a few rounds through the Run and then the light fades away. This would probably be a fun gift from a grandparent or aunt and uncle but not something a parent would go out of their way to buy. The Run itself is not very big and takes less than 5 seconds for a marble to go through. We are going to combine it with our other sets to make a bigger one.

Fun
Oh wow, I just snagged the National Geographic Glow-in-the-Dark Marble Run for my 9-year-old, and let me tell you—it’s a total game-changer! This 50-piece set is bursting with awesome parts, and those glow-in-the-dark marbles? They light up like magical galaxies, leaving my kid absolutely mesmerized! Sure, putting it together took a little brainpower at first, but the clear instructions turned it into an epic family adventure. The STEM vibe is a huge plus, sparking creativity and problem-solving left and right. The only tiny hiccup? Those non-replaceable batteries—fingers crossed they last! Definitely a must-have for kids over 3 (watch out for that choking hazard warning), and I’m giving it two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Fun for everyone
The National Geographic Glow in the Dark Marble Run is a really engaging toy that blends the fun of a classic marble run with a cool, glowing twist. The kit comes with a UV light keychain to "charge" the marbles, and watching them zip down the tracks in a darkened room is genuinely a highlight. It's a fantastic way to introduce kids to concepts of gravity, engineering, and problem-solving, as they learn through trial and error how to build stable and effective tracks. Assembly is fairly intuitive, and the pieces fit together snugly, which is a big plus for preventing frustrating collapses. The set also comes with a convenient storage bag, making cleanup easy. However, be aware that the 50-piece set is quite small. The number of pieces can be misleading, as marbles and other small accessories are included in the count. To build more complex and exciting runs, you will likely need to purchase additional sets. The instruction manual also lacks detailed build examples, so it relies heavily on a child's imagination or a parent's help. Overall, it's a solid educational toy, but the real fun starts when you combine it with another set for a much bigger, more intricate creation.

So much fun and many possibilities of setup
What a fun set!!! There is a guide to help assist, but my kids had much more fun creating their own. The pieces fit together nicely and it's so cool that the balls glow! The pieces are sturdy (I wouldn't suggest trying to step on them). They are made of plastic. The balls are small and I would suggest keeping them in a zip bag when not using. We paired this with another set we had to the kids got really creative.

Love a toy that hides learning in good old fashioned fun!
My kid loves marble runs, I mean lovessss. This one is small but mighty! It has very cool twists, turns, and wheels. And the glow in the dark marbles are dope! He has found so many different ways to configure the tracks, but he always tries to think about how to make the marbles look extra cool. The best thing about the National Geographic set is the little companion booklet. It adds a scientific approach to a toy, turning it into a valuable learning experience. It covers things like velocity and acceleration and how to run marble trials to figure out which configuration makes the fastest run. Very cool!
