Wear a 10.5 in running shoes, the 10s gave me just enough toe room and the 9s were too small. The top of the shoe is made of some kinda rubber and isn't super heavy. The insoles are glued in for some reason and to remove them damages them including the heel pad for the limited arch support. I need to have arch support insoles for my overpronation. The shoe was too uncomfortable with both insoles. After ripping out the original insoles, scrapping out glue, and adding 2 of my own insoles they are wearable. If you need added support these are not for you without some effort. The original padding was very comfortable, unfortunately it was one pad glued together and to the bottom of the shoe that gave it any support or cushioning. The heel lip is just high enough to prevent sliding out the back of the shoe and the structure makes it easy to remove and put on hands free.
