Mucinex Works!
Mucinex works. I had a cold and needed to go out but was coughing and had sinus problems constantly blowing my nose, drainage. This reduced all of that quite a bit for at least 10-11 hours.

Performs great but the size of pill is not great
I use this all the time when I get sick. Works great. The only problem is the Thanksgiving Day turkey-sized pills. Why are we still making these archaic monstrosities when there are liqui-gels and other options out there? They need to develop a much easier delivery method than this.

made me freak out
took this once & lost my Mind. shaking, anxious, heart racing—i mean i complEtely wigged out. i couldn’t stop laughing even though i felt Very Scared. apparently this is a thing that can happen. i took a Giant walk and drank 2 liquid iv’s to try to flush it out of my system. if you’ve never taken this before, know that this is a crazy side-effect that can occur from taking dextromethophan, especially if you may already suffer from anxiety.

Doesn't suppress cough
Not suppressing cough. I couldn’t sleep at night due to constant coughing. Mucinex didn’t help at all.

This truly worked for me. Had flu like symptoms, mainly painful cough and bronchial congestion. Literally within minutes it started easing up and continued feeling better for hours.

Good product and works well but as Horrific stated, IT'S TOO BIG! My husband is 84 and has great difficulty swelling your monster pill. Why can't it be made two pills like many other needing to be large doses in pill form separated into two?

Side Effects
Works WELL . HOWEVER. I always have a nasty side effect of sulfur smelling urine. So much so, that I won't take this medicine if I know I'm going to be around people.

I took this product immediately as I felt symptoms of congestion hoping it would stop whatever was on its way. My cold came to a full storm as if I took nothing. Day 1 I was in bed all day from drowsiness and stuffiness. Day 2 completely stuffed up with dry cough. Day 3 dry cough worsened. Day 4 faucet nose and sneezing. Wish I took DayQuil/NyQuil. It would’ve knocked it out in 2 days tops.
