Exactly as Expected
As many of the other comments suggest, the materials are cheap...but what do you expect when purchasing furniture at this price? I am a college student with two jobs in EMS so I'm not the richest and can't afford a $5,000 bedroom set. This works perfectly and assembly is easy! Don't screw in past the feeling of resistance - that is what causes particle board to begin to split!

I'd buy it again
The final product looks great, just as pictured. It isn't the highest quality, one of the pieces has a little knick in it, not sure if it came like that or if it happened during assembly, but it doesn't bother me. Pretty easy assembly, took around half an hour. I really like this nightstand though. The drawers are spacious enough for me and they have no issues sliding so far. I imagine it will get more dents as time goes on but for the time being this is just what I wanted.

OK- Cheap
I bought this over a year ago for my six-year-old daughter. She is not rough on furniture, but over time... the drawer now does not stay in line and sometimes will not shut properly. The drawers slide too far out sometimes and then it is hard for her to line the drawer up to push it back in. If I were to purchase a bedside table again, I would find one that had a better sliding system with rollers on metal or something of that sort. I adjust the drawers once a week or every other week.

Cheap but cute!
This nightstand was made of a cheap wood on the inside, but it's hidden away and can't be seen. Yet the outside appears to be more attractive, and is very easy to clean. I love the handles, and the bottom piece detailing really pops. Assembling it all was easy, too. I was a little worried to buy this item when I saw the other reviews of it, but decided to just take a chance. I purchased this four months ago, and haven't had any problems with it.

Poor quality
This nightstand looks nicer in pictures. It is made of the cheapest, thinnest particle board that looks very unclassy. The wood also split as I was screwing the nails in. I'm taking this back to the store. Very dissatisfied.
