Additionally, unlike standard unbalanced RCA interconnects that utilize their braid as a signal return, balanced cables have a separate braided shield to provide additional resistance to interference without modulating the interference into the signal. This prevents ground loop issues.

    Great Cables

    I replaced my unbalanced RCA cables with these, and the sound quality on my 2-channel stereo system immediately sounded better. I have used Monoprice speaker cables with excellent results, so it was no surprise that I had a similar result on this purchase.

    Been using for a little over a year

    I'm not sure if I'd ever actually be able to hear a difference between different models of cable but I've had zero issue with these and they seem to be well built.

    Nicely done

    The cable itself is substantial but flexible. The connectors seem well made and lock securely into the jacks on my preamp and power amp. A solid option at a great price!
