Description

This is the most affordable electric sit-stand desk frame from Monoprice. We want more people to experience using a desk that fits them perfectly, whether they are sitting or standing, so they can maximize comfort, productivity, and well-being. The electric motor does the heavy lifting and the desk transforms with a touch of a button. This desk frame lets users enjoy the benefits of changing positions throughout the day without going over budget. This model is made of the same quality materials and deliver the same basic functions as the higher-spec'd Monoprice motorized desks, but nonessential features and maximum ranges have been scaled down to keep prices affordable. This model uses a simple up-down controller, is rated for up to 154 pounds, and has 2-stage legs that adjust from 28 ~ 47.5 inches. This desk frame is recommended for desktops 35 ~ 63 inches wide and 20 ~ 32 inches deep. Wood screws are included, but assembly requires drilling and installation.

Q: I basically want to use the leg mechanism - but do NOT want the bottom feet. Does it come where the bottom feet are NOT attached or can they be removed so I can better "hide" the legs.

Q: I want the up/down arrows to be hidden all the way under the desk. Is it possible to extend the table top so that the controls actually sit under the tabletop rather than flush at the edge?

    I wish I had bought this sooner. I had one of those on top of desk risers for my computer and I could never get it quite right and it was hard to lift. I was able to use the top from my old desk and attack it to this. It was easy to put together and an ease to use. Love it!

    Great for sit stand working.

    Great desk for sit/stand work. Easy to install (with drill). Works very smooth up and down. Would recommend installing the power pack on the opposite side of the instructions. I’m tall (5’11”) and this desk gets the height I needed that others did not offer

    stopped working twice

    The first time I bought this it stopped working after a few months. It was replaced under warranty. The new one has now stopped working but I have no option to replace.

    Loud and complicated assembly

    This is the fourth standing desk I've purchased, and I've noticed that this is by far the loudest desk and the most complicated in terms of assembly, although the assembly is still simple enough. This is compared to Flexispot or Autonomous or Jarvis. The control to raise or lower the desk also feels cheaper and the buttons are a little harder to press. Overall, not as high quality, but definitely cheaper!

    Super happy with my purchase so far. I put a 72? laminate board from IKEA on top and it works great. Surprisingly easy to build. Bit of a wobble with this big of a desk but that?s expected.

    Great Hardware for a variable height computer desk

    I needed a table. It didn't have to be variable height, just sturdy. The size of the top I needed was specific to my requirements. This leg set gave me a readymade foundation for my custom sized top.

    Workstream power lift table leg system is the best I have used.

    I have 4 of these Workstream power lift frames. One of them is in my garage with 3" caster wheels that I am using for my 10" table saw. Being able to adjust the height to align with my in and out feed tables is just short of perfect. I will purchase another one and make a 4' round table for puzzles or cards or for any other use we can think of. The pictured table was just completed.

    Love it! I used this with a Herman Miller conference table I purchased. It's awesome - strong and sturdy. The base is substantial and stable but not bulky. The motor feels powerful, like it's not going to stop working in a month. We'll see! My only note (not complaint) is that I wish it went lower. This is my fault for not measuring the lowest setting and ignoring this same note in other reviews. I'm going to remedy by getting a taller chair. The whole set up process took a few hours. I do recommend this product.

    Great base to make a standing desk

    The assembly of this unit was straightforward and clear. It took me about 30 minutes (going slowly) and was easy to do solo. I did get help flipping the desk upright once completed. RE Operation: The lift works really well! I use it for my 60" table top and it does not hesitate to raise or lower. Also, it feels completely stable and does not wobble at all. Highly recommend for the price!
