It's a monoprice cable. Meaning it's very well built and does exactly what it says it does. I've bought so many cables at this point I should own stock in Monoprice.

This is a very nice upgrade that will pay long term dividends.

Super high quality cables. When the package arrived I inspected each cable and man you can feel and see the manufacturing for these cables are on point.

Monoprice ethernet network cables have been my goto for many years. I only test one cable run and want way good, this cable performed almost as specified which is fine as you can find for speed. I kinda do like snag less cables best that have the rubber/silicone/whatever the Chinese use covers protecting the release., these are just the metal prong thingie but the network connection this will be used for is set it and forget it one type plug in under a desk. I love it, you can too if ya buy one guaranteed!

My PS5, like others, had an issue where the system did not detect the wired ethernet connection. I tried the cable I had (a CAT6 monoprice cable) in different router ports and with different computers and it worked fine. If you do a Google search the ethernet port "pickiness" is a known issue but not wide-spread. The resolution is either to send it in for service or try different cables. I bought this Cat8 cable from Monoprice hoping it would solve the problem. It did, the PS5 detected the hard wired connection and everything works great. Highly recommend.

This cable improved my internet speed made the connection better.

I am using this cable as a longer interconnect between two KEF LS50W speakers. There is no discernible audio difference between this cable and the shorter one supplied with the speakers, however, it is a fraction of the price. Arrived quickly and seems to be of great quality.

I didn’t run the cable through a tester but it’s the right length, labeled with the right info and the plug wiring is correct and very neat. 1G Ethernet adapter connects at 1G to a 1G port, and throughput is appropriate.
