  • Backwards Compatible: Using the same connector allows this cable to be compatible with previous DisplayPort versions, so there is no need to purchase special cables for legacy DisplayPort devices.
  • These cables can deliver up to 8.1Gbps of data to each of the four lanes.

Monoprice Braided DisplayPort 1.4 Cables are compatible with the newest DisplayPort 1.4 specification. With DisplayPort 1.4, you can connect your Displayport equipped ultra-high performance gaming PC or workstation to a high resolution monitor. This cable features support for High Bit Rate 3 (HBR3), Display Stream Compression 1.2 (DSC), Forward Error Correction, and up to 32 Inline Audio Channels. It is fully compatible with older DisplayPort standards and includes the standard DisplayPort connector locks, which helps prevent unwanted disconnects and provides long lasting connectivity.

    Wish it had "EasyPlug" like the 1.2 version

    I'm currently using this DP 1.4 10ft cable to drive my 1440p monitor at 144hz. Works great for that. I only wish that it had an "EasyPlug" clipless plug version. The port on my monitor is kind of in a weird spot so to remove the cable I have to press laterally on the button and I feel like I'm putting a lot of stress on the monitor port. Not a deal breaker and some people may like the clips as it makes it very secure once plugged in. But I would have liked the option to buy it without it like Monoprice's DP 1.2 cable counterpart.

    High quality, just like I've come to expect from Monoprice. I bought three of these to connect two 4k HDR and one 1440p 144Hz display and have had zero issues. They worked at full resolution and color depth out of the box, adaptive sync and all. In the future when I need display cables Monoprice is where I'll look first.

    Clearer picture and both frames and DPS went up...

    Streaming looks much better on the 4k 55 inch and when plugged into my 144 hz, 1ms 27 inch 2k gaming monitor, my FPS and DPS both went up. Honestly, didn't think there would be that much of a difference in cabling but looking more into shielding and cross-talk, it can be a bigger issue than I thought. I'm really happy with these both in speed and construction so far.
