    Works just fine

    So I am responding to an email that asked me to review the product. It works just fine, my only complaint is the marking on the cable. There's no way to tell what it is unless I label it myself. So easy to loose track, given the number of variations cables most people have.

    Cable Issues

    I have not used the 8K cables. I bought them in case one of my 4K cables went bad. I had an Audioquest cables stop working. I thought the problem was my Blu-Ray Player. Sent Player in for repair. Company could find nothing wrong. Bought new 4K cables from Monoprice and everything is working. Been reading 18Gbps might not be enough bandwidth, so wanted a larger back-up.

    Budget pricing, professional results

    You don't have to pay ridiculous prices and get caught in all the marketing hype. Monoprice is reasonably priced and offers quality craftsmanship and results. It's good to know that I am future-proofed with these cables.

    Not certified, but it works fine.

    Monoprice is ambiguous about whether or not this cable is actually "ultra high speed" but I can confirm that it is not certified. Packaging does not say "ultra high speed" and does not bear the certified label. However it does seem to work just fine running at 4K 120Hz from an RTX 3070.

    Works with PlayStation 5

    I needed a fairly lengthy Ultra High Speed HDMI cable for my PlayStation 5 after discovering a standard HDMI cable would not work with it. I found out authentic Ultra High Speed HDMI cables run only 10’ or less and says “Ultra High Speed HDMI’ printed on the cable itself, so I was glad to see this cable fit both descriptions. Needless to say, worked like a charm!

    8K cables much better than 4K

    I have a Samsung 65", 4K TV. I bought 4K cables and was not satisfied with the picture. Constant dithering in monochrome, static sections of the picture and some audio lagging the video at times. Installed the 8K cables and the improvement was noticeable. Much clearer picture and no sound problems. Some of the problems could be due to the cable box and the signal supplied by the cable company.

    Clear unbiased review, read and research!

    Now this is prime time, especially with sound. My sound bar wasn’t creating the same sound it did with Bluetooth and optical versus with another top brand name more popular hdmi cable than monoprice sucked. Now my sound bar is booming. Video wise I use it with my RTX 2080 Ti, a high end graphics card for PC. Works phenomenally. Just as it goes, any new high end TV whether Samsung or LG need 40 gb/s maximum, even 8k. So if you want the most out of your TV you need 40 minimum or more gb/s. So this is beyond satisfactory for the long run/future proofing. Also need to consider the longer the cable is the lower data flows. That’s why I guess 8 ft is the most that this cable could go to maintain those speeds. Excellent product. Maximizing the potential of the money you invested in your TV, sound bars and anything else you invested extra in for performance.

    Does the job

    It seems to do the job. I have a standing desk and raise it frequently. As a result I think the cable occasionally comes loose and I’ll see the monitor blank out or have grey lines. If I unplug and plug the cable back in or wiggle the cable it usually fixes the problem. Don’t have a monitor or computer to max out the cables capability so I don’t have any experience from that end. Wanted to future proof. Currently running 3840 x 2160 resolution.
