I didn't like the flimsy, thin i.e.c. cable that came with the xr-18 mixer we bought. I needed something that inspired confidence and could survive real world use.This cable fits great/snug and is, of course, much more robust than the wimpy 18ga(?) one the penny pinching manufacturer provided. So I'm counting on this monoprice 14ga cable to hold up to many years of frequent setup and load out. Wish I could easily find affordable 12ga ones for power amps in a variety of lengths. Happy with this cable out of the gate.. time will tell the rest.

I am using these to power my active speaker. They have helped me eliminate using power strips to power the speakers.

I like that is has a larger wire gauge and doesn't get warm when I'm using it.

These cords are well built. I have used dozens and sold hundreds of them, never a complaint. I use these for running bitcoin miners.

Like so many Monoprice products, it is very heavy-duty and well-constructed. I use it with my HP laser printer, and it works great.

On the 25 foot length, Monoprice sent me a cord with TWO 3-prong plugs at both ends -- meaning two plugs at each end of the cord to plug in a wall. Grossly defective manufacturing. Will they make me pay for shipping to return such sloppy design and manufacturing?

It's perfect! ... I actually use it to power my pellet stove, same plug, etc. I originally purchased a much shorter chord at Walmart that cost 2x as much. Now with this longer chord, I no longer need an extension.
