THE CORDS WORKED FINE IN OUTDOOR CHRISTMAS LIGHT STRINGS. IN THIS CASE THE BLACK COLOR WAS PREFERABLE AS IT WAS LESS VISIBLE. GOOD PRODUCT.

If you have power adapter blocks, these short cords help
So needed when trying to add a component with a power adapter to prevent the cube from covering several other power slots on a UPS or extension cord. The 1ft length is perfect. I have 6" ones from other vendors, and Monoprice's 1ft long cord allows better flexibility when connecting components. The cords have held up with zero problems so far.

This extension cards works just fine when you have a power strip most power strips are too small to accommodate power cord with wide phone chargers and other devices.

THE handiest thing to have around
I bought this on a whim when buying other thigs, I thought they would be handy to have around. Boy Howdy, are they. I bought 1 - 10', 2 - 3', and 3 or 4 - 1'. I have an old set of computer speakers that has a large adapter block that covers up neighboring plugs on a power strip. One of the 1' cords here and I could lay the adapter down on the desk and problem solved!

Cords are just as advertised and seem to be good quality. I kinda wish they were available in 6" lengths too, since I'm only using them to be able to plug big plugs into power strips without blocking the neighboring plug, but these are cheap enough that I guess it doesn't matter!
