Monoprice 15ft 18AWG AC Power Cord Cable w/o Polarized, 10A NEMA 1-15P to IEC-320-C7

I got me a deal on one of those Samsung curved TV's from a Facebook marketplace ad but the stock cable was painfully short, only about 5 foot or so. It was a 1-15P plug like this one but at a right angle rather than straight on. Not wanting to daisy chain extenders and risk a fire hazard I got this 15ft boy to replace the short stock cable and the TV booted up without issue, it's been almost a month I've had it in my setup and no issues to report.

We needed a longer cord for an LG TV. This cord was a perfect replacement for the stock cord.

I felt lucky to find this 2-wire cord for a laptop charger. Just a cosmetic improvement.

Most, if not all, new flat screen televisions come with only a 5-6 foot power cord. Depending upon where or how you mount the tv the supplied power cord is too short. Another issue with the manufacturer-supplied power cord is the use of a right angle connection for the AC end. If you want to plug the tv into a surge strip or power conditioner, the right angle connector is a serious problem, blocking outlets and interfering with other equipment power cords. This monoprice power cord solves both problems. The 15 foot length allows me to use a single cord and not mess around with adding extension cords. Plus no right angle connections makes it easy to plug into my Panamax power conditioner.

I used this for an inside (hidden) wall run for a wall-mounted TV, replacing the manufacturer's shorter cable and it works as advertised.

Great improvement over the original in that this cord is 15 feet vs the 4 ft factory special.
