The first thing to strike me was the build of the cable, looks and feels like a first rate piece of equipment. I was blown away with the sonic clarity, and musical reproduction upon placing them between my preamp and amp. I wish I had know about the improvement earlier in my search for sonic clarity!

Hello new music
Connecting my new amp and preamp using these XLR cables turned my stereo from a 'kiddies first stereo' to woah! I'm hearing things on records that I listened to hard through the 70s & 80s that didn't hear before. I give them a thumbs up! I would recommend these XLR cables to anyone.

Decent cable but pictures of connector don't match actual connector
The cable quality is good. Great value for the money. My only complaint is the connector is clearly painted, but the product photos make it look more like a machined aluminum or brushed finish. The photos make it look truly premium and the actual product is just decent. Still solid for the price.

Good solid construction!
Well constructed cable. None of the audiophile mumbo jumbo, but feels and sounds well constructed. I think for the price they cannot be beat. Definitely feel it is a step up from my unbalanced cables previously connecting my oppo udp-205, to my Adcom GFP-715. Thanks Monoprice!

These cables are well built and adhere to the high standard Monoprice places in its products. The high quality metallic XLR connectors on these balanced cables add to the quality of the cables. The cables are flexible, durable and attractive due in part to the braided nylon covering. These cable work as designed and are highly recommended for audiophiles who have equipment with XLR ports. I had purchased some of the Monolith RCA interconnects earlier for another piece of equipment that does not have XLR ports, and I couldn't be happier. Both sets of cables were constructed to the same high caliber.
