Solid, attractive, affordable
What can't this stand hold? This is a great stand that was easy to put together. I have a couple of mono block amps on the bottom shelf, a preamp above, then a CD player, and on top a turntable. Put two of these side by side for a home theater shelf system that could accommodate a 50 inch television. All you'd need is a simple riser on top to create a space for your center channel speaker, and that is easy to cheaply construct.

Really nice, Love it, Sturdy.
I use mine holding E7 Amp on the bottom (more) Sturdy / weight capacity shelf. Also better to have the heaviest on the bottom, so I've been told. then 1 shelf up, Preamp then 1 shelf up, Blu-ray player. Top shelf; open for whatever else. Pretty simple to put together. May need help moving it into place.. just easier. Decide how/where you want it before putting all your gear on it(obviously?); which will make it a lot heavier.

Overall Very Happy with Them.
I bought two of these since they?re higher up and I?m having trouble bending over and my system is complicated so they?ve enabled me to split it up so I don?t have to bend down nearly as far. They were also inexpensive and very rigid and well-made and I might get a third one if my system grows. The multiple racks leaves me flexible which I also like but the could look sharper although they aren?t ugly, just neutral which is fine by me.

Holds everything well and assembled easy
Finally put a TV on a wall so needed a good cabinet. Nice and solid and holds everything well, assembling easy. Could perhaps use some cable management for a premium.

Good value proposition
Simply put, for the price you can't really ask for much more. Putting the stand together was a breeze, it looks great and it is sturdy and steady. At one inch thick the shelves seem to be able to hold fairly heavy equipment too. One can also decide how many levels to have from one to four. I now need to get all my gear on; the space is certainly there :-)

Nice for price
Nice for price. Legs do screw together to allow more room for taller components. Also metric bolts are available to make up for extras needed.

Monolith XL Audio Stands: Attractive, Incredibly Well Built and Affordable!
These Monolith XL audio stands are attractive, incredibly well built and affordable. Unlike similar Pangea stands where the sides of the shelves are curved, the Monolith XL?s are straight, which allows you to set up multiple units side by side to accommodate more components and achieve a clean and tidy look. Why spend $1,500+ on one three or four tier Solidsteel stand when you can purchase a few Monolith XL?s instead for A LOT less? These are a great value and are built like tanks. Highly recommended!

Very Strong Stand
This is a very sturdy stand. My center channel, pre/pro and two amps fit perfectly. Plan on buying another for my family room to set up a stereo system. My only disappointment is not having enough space for exhaust fans. Neither of my amps have any clearance on top inside the stand. Trying to come up with a cooling solution.

Outstanding product
This thing is a beast. Very heavy, solid and well made. Easy to assemble. I like the reinforced lower shelf that holds my Monolith 7X. Recommend you measure the equipment you want to put on it and compare to the dimensions. I had to put my Onkyo TX-RZ830 on the top as it would not fit any other shelf. Highly recommended.

High quality A/V rack
Superb Audio/Video rack. Nice and sturdy. It?s exactly what I wanted, and feels like a well made quality product. I?m very pleased with my purchase. It?s more compact than my previous Sanos AV rack stand, and I?m glad I switched it out to the monoprice stand.

Quality Unit Warranting Repeat Buy
Solid construction and pleasing appearance. I have 2 turntables setting on top shelves. Tube phono preamp, SACD player, and dedicated balanced/SE headphone amp, and integrated amp appropriately spaced on lower shelves for weight balance and accessibility. I have units resting on padded carpeting with furniture gliders under each leg. The stand is rock solid but fairly easy to slide with the furniture gliders. Highly recommend!

Needs more room
Only 4 stars because not enough room for a infinity cooler on top of monolith 7x200 amplifier. Well built for the price though

AV Stand
This is an extremely well built AV Stand, it is well worth the price. However, I would recommend 3-inch plastic furniture movers under each leg so it can be moved on a carpeted floor. When fully loaded with AV equipment is heavy including the AV Stand. Regards JP

Top Quality Rack, bargain basement price!
After reading many reviews on many different products offered by monoprice and monolith this is my first purchase of many to come. All other reviews of this and other products I've read seem to be consistently positive for good reason. The quality, fit and finish of this AV rack is top notch and on par with many higher priced iterations. If you're on the fence pull the trigger you will not be disappointed, this product is machined to perfection!
