Q: What are the dimensions of the top plate that speakership attached to?

  • A: I don't know if Monoprice's answer is correct. On their website, the top plate is 8.5" x 6.0" and bottom plate is 12.0" x 9.9. I don't know why Monoprice would confuse us.

Far Superior to Other Stands in This Price Range

The stands came well- packed were easy to assemble. The top plate is large enough to hold a big bookshelf speaker and I like that the support pieces are solid wood, which gives a richer look and is plenty strong. I'm deducting a star because there's no cable management and, more importantly, because the stands are a little wobbly on my carpet, even with the carpet spikes installed. Having said that, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat - they offer tremendous value for the price and are far superior to other stands I've bought online in this price range (I got them on sale for about $64).
