Easily installed but not as sturdy
My husband installed the faucet easily, but it isn't as sturdy as our old one. I regret buying the cheapest model.

The Moen 87603 Adler Single-handle Kitchen Faucet comes with an escutcheon/deck plate and a gasket that sits on top of the sink or counter-top. The Moen 87603 Adler Single-handle Kitchen Faucet comes with a single faucet mounting nut that is installed without tools through a single hole. Over-tightening the faucet mounting nut can cause difficulty with moving the spout and with the escutcheon/deck plate. Moen product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation and warranty assistance. They can be reached at 1-800-289-6636 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am- 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

Nice price, but...
The faucet works well but installation was difficult because attachments were not the same as the Moen faucet that I was replacing. The faucet stream is adequate but is weaker than the old one. Oh well, I guess will save on water.

Great product at a very good price
Would have liked to see somewhere in the instructions or even better on the outside of the box information on what size hole was required to install. My old one was a 2 hole setup so I needed to drill a center hole but no info was given on the size. I needed to actually open the box and measure the piece before I could tell if I had the right size but. Other than that installation was very easy.

So So Faucet
After mounting this faucet, the escutcheon will not pull tight to the sink. I will have to lay a bead of silicone around it to keep water from leaking beneath the escutcheon & ultimately under the sink into cabinet.

Hello Trace and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. The Moen Adler Chrome One-Handle Kitchen Faucet comes with an escutcheon kit that is mounted to the sink through one hole. You will want to make sure that the mounting nut is not over-tightened so that it does not “raise” the ends of the escutcheon plate. You can use a bead of water proof sealant or caulk to provide an additional seal for the plate. Our product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation and warranty assistance.
