Most of the reviews are not for this product. I actually think this product works well, my issue is, it is too think to come out via squeezing the bottle. I have put a glob in my hands to rub it at the roots of the hair.

I really like this product. I’ve had my box braids in for a little while now and my scalp became itchy so i wanted to give my scalp a nice cleanse without having to take my braids out. This product foamed up just as it advertised. Follow directions by applying to a dry scalp first then add water. My scalp felt so clean after rinsing the product back out. i used a brand new white washcloth to run through my scalp after i washed the product out to see if there was any dirt left on my scalp and it was squeeekyclean. i love this product and recommend to others with protective styles; box braids, locs, under sew ins, or units. I also followed up with a calming lotion that left my hair with a nice minty tingly feeling.

This is so far the best product i have used. It has a good scent to it, leaves my skin moisture after applied. The texture is smooth and my family loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the consistency of this Dove Body Lotion. It is very easy to blend and a little bit goes a long way and it does not leave a film behind. My skin feels more moisturized right away and I like the soothing properties. When I tell you the consistency was silky and smooth you better believe it. My skin has been feeling extra dry due to the change in weather and just lacking its usual moisture. This has help tremendously. It's very light, mild and it moisturizes deeper than any brands I've tried. It's perfect for use for hands, feet, arms, essentially anywhere on the body even on the face. I liked how quickly it absorbed and how made my skin feel. It’s a deep-penetrating and fast absorbing all-over-the-body lotion that leaves your skin extra soft, extra smooth and extra beautiful, instead of extra dry.

I've been a loyal customer of Dove cream oil body lotion for 10+ years. It's always been wonderful and helped with my skin where I live in a very VERY dry location. But this new formula feels so liquid-y and not like the good creamy lotion that I've used for 10 years. I've noticed a huge change in the dryness of my skin since I started the new bottle of lotion a week ago. I'm constantly reapplying and it still feels dry. I used to love this lotion and would recommend it to everyone and anyone. But I'm seriously debating switching after 10 years of business. Please go back to the old formula.

It’s absorbs well and really improves how my skin feels.

But that is not the case at this product. It went on my skin and stayed there. My hands were good afterwards. The smell was nice - I noticed a difference in my skin. I’m surprised how well it works considering it’s more on the liquid side. It moisturizes as well as some of my thicker creams. Also, it’s very affordable and easy to find in stores.
