Do not buy!!
I got it all assembled and the drawers locking system made it IMPOSSIBLE to get the drawers in. Target was no help when asking for assembly assistance. I am no stranger to putting furniture together but this by far was the worst experience! I’ll shop elsewhere from now on.

Do NOT add the safety latch.
I would say the look is cute, definitely not the BEST quality when the drawers are in, despite following step by step instructions. One thing i do recommend is NOT installing the safety latch it says you “have to have attached”… made the drawers a pain to put in and definitely not needed at all.

Heavy and Moderate Difficulty
Like everything else, FELLOW the INSTRUCTIONS! It took time and I assembled it slowly and carefully. The piece is very heavy for what it is. The backing pieces are super thick and heavy, metal legs are solid, but the drawers themselves are flimsy. Installing those drawers rails were a bit tricky but I managed. Two persons assist would go much faster.

Heavy lifting for literally nothing. Waste of my time.
I’m sure this thing is probably great once it’s assembled, but it would’ve been cool if the instruction manual was included in the box. And not a single video exists online to assemble this thing, so back to the store it goes!

Ehhhh
Got this to increase my storage space with the same dresser I bought several years ago. This dresser is a different SIZE then the same mixed material dresser purchases about 4 years ago. Would have appreciated that info on the listing. The locking safety mechanism seems unnecessary and actually caused on of the drawers to break on the bottom frame -but still usable.

Damaged Parts and Terrible Drawers
When I got mine, one of the cam locks was just smooshed and I had to go through the process to get another one. Which to their credit (Sauder?) they did send free of charge. This thing was extraordinarily painful to put together. I recommend that you have a right angle or flexible screw driver for the legs. Once I got to the part of putting the drawers in, they simply would not. Sounds like I'm not the only one based on the reviews. They won't go in all the way without being forceful. And you need to push them in ALL the way because of the interlock track design. Only one drawer can be open at a time. And due to having to be more forceful to push in/pull out the drawers, one of them broke as I was pulling it out. This was an expensive waste of my time.

Perfect nightstand dresser
Arrived in perfect condition. It was really easy to put together. I didn’t include the door lock system piece based on other people’s reviews. The drawers are really roomy and sturdy and overall I’m really happy with this piece of furniture. I bought two they both went together fine. One of the drawers was slightly off and wouldn’t close all the way, but a slight adjustment in the tracks is all I needed to fix the problem 10 out of 10 recommend

Chemial smell
I've aired out this dresser using a fan for over a week hoping the smell will fade. I've had other cheaper mixed material furniture that didn't wreak like this. I wish I read reviews before purchasing!

I had to throw it out after a month due to poor assembly instructions and a chemical smell that never went away. I’ve put together a lot of furniture in the past, and none were as fragile as this one.

This was easy to put together and was exactly what i needed for my sons room. HOWEVER, at the last step the glides and drawers do NOT ALIGN to close flush/shut into its space (as per instructions). I may return the entire set to Target already assembled.

Poor welds on the actual drawer slides. Other materials fine but don't matter relative to the actual function.
Slight (and I mean slight) downward pressure burst the weld on the drawer slide. Very poor quality weld and I'm sure terrible alloy. Hoping for a replacement drawer slide with better welds. Truly the only thing that matters on budget furniture is weld quality on things that move, that was not followed with this piece of furniture. One photo is the nonbroken left side, one photo is the broken piece on the right. Otherweise fine furniture for the price.

I got this fully assembled and I cannot get the drawers to slide in. They are in the track but the locking mechanism will not go down, nor will my drawers slide in fully. There is a gap at the bottom and it hits the divider on the top. Will have to return it

Positive Purchase But Hesitant to Repurchase
I purchased this dresser in April 2023 and I LOVE it! It was a project to put together but not impossible. I didn’t experience any assembly issues or odors — feel bad for those who did but I won’t insult their abilities. My only complaint would be it is smaller than I’d hoped it would be. Which is why I came back with the intent to purchase a 2nd one…but now after reading recent reviews I’m hesitating.
