DO NOT BUY! What a piece of junk made to think that kids will learn something. It requires kids to pick out "simliar" seed....lol. How about you don't put all the different seeds in one pouch!

Awful!
There is nothing to like. The seeds appear to be the same vegetable. All of them didn't sprout. They pretty mush stop growing while they're small, so you never see the roots below.

It didn't work out for us
Thought this would be a cute project to do with my daughter and my father. We followed instructions slowly and with care so my daughter could learn as we went. Everything started well; We watered daily, emptied excess water, and gave it a home near a window with gentle natural sunlight. We had some small sprouts that all failed to thrive after about 2-3 weeks. I see in another review with a photo that theirs grew beautifully so there must have been some differences in the conditions and sometimes seeds are just duds. We used it as a learning experience but I was a bit disappointed that we couldn’t see the whole process- no roots to view at all.

Not worth it!

Difficult & broken
I bought 4 of these to use with residents in a senior living community. The seeds were nearly impossible to use - tiny and hard to catch from the water they had to soak in. And the bottom of the container was cracked - 2 had pieces broken out. I had to use them anyway so I hope the soil stays drained. Fingers crossed that they actually grow.

We bought this for our kids and got home and the container is cracked. We returned it and the second one we got was cracked as well. Sad they are all cracked.
