These were a staple treat in our home, but they have recently changed the recipe. The caramel is completely different both in texture (no pull at all for instance) and flavor (not much flavor compared to before. Please bring back the previous/original recipe. These were previously a million times better than the "Turtle" brand.

This was my second time buying these, and wow what a difference! The first time, they were okay. I liked the taste but didn’t love them. This time, I put them in the freezer since I was worried the Texas heat had gotten to them. Turns out, that was the best move. Frozen, they’re amazing. The crunch, the texture, the flavor—everything just hit right. I had two, then went back for two more fifteen minutes later. From now on, I’ll definitely be keeping these in the freezer. They make the perfect cool, crunchy treat!

These are excellent and perfectly sized little turtle chocolates. The caramel is delicious and buttery and the chocolate is a better quality than I expected for store brand. The pecans are in bits which I kind of prefer to whole in other turtles. As far as the reviewer that wrote “not again” because they believe it contains alcohol, please google it. Chocolate liquor is a paste made from ground cocoa beans and does NOT contain alcohol. Do your homework before you give out bad info.
