It’s super lightweight, smells fresh, and makes detangling so much easier. I love that it leaves my hair soft and shiny without feeling greasy, and it really helps keep frizz under control especially when I keep it in the fridge for that cooling effect. That said, I’ve heard it doesn’t work for everyone, so if you have fine or very dry hair, you might want to test it first. For me, though, it’s been a great everyday frizz-tamer.

It controls the frizz
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from influenster and Mielle Avocado and Tamanu in exchange for my honest review. I think this is my favorite, when I use it my frizz is gone for a while, it's a light product, I don't need to use a lot but it works great, the only thing is the spray, I don't know if it's my bottle that doesn't work well but it's kinda annoying when I have to use it.

I use this by spraying it into my hands and working it throughout the ends of my hair so that I have more control over where it is applied and that works well so a little goes a long way. I have not had any issues with frizz.

Truth in advertising. This really works to minimize frizz!
As I have fine, Afro curly hair, which I like to wear straight, I sprayed a modest amount of this anti frizz leave in conditioner in my hands and distributed throughout my hair after washing and conditioning. Next I used the L’ange blow dryer brush, followed by flat ironing. This product is excellent at minimizing frizz, leaving hair soft, shiny and manageable. I have been out in non-stop rain and it is still working! I highly recommend this product. Also, I did not refrigerate it before using. Perhaps I will try that next time. Thank you Mielle for delivering on your anti-frizz promise.

Caused hair loss but worked well at taming frizz
Caused my hair to fall out in pretty big clumps. However it worked the best at taming those little fly-aways at the hairline. Use caution when using as it took a couple weeks to really start falling out.

Get a better dispenser
The product itself is absolutely amazing. The reason for the four stars as opposed to five has to do with the pump sprayer. The sprayer is a failure as a delivery mechanism. They should switch to a pump dispenser not a spray. That will give you a five star product.

Great for straight styling
I straighten my natural hair with just a blow dryer and flat iron, using only the Rosemary & Mint scalp oil then small amounts of the Avocado & Tamanu Anti-Frizz Slip and Seal Leave-in Conditioner. I use the leave-in as a conditioner and heat protector. My hair comes out straight and it lasts throughout the week. I have 3B hair.

Changed the game!
I’ve been using this for a while as my normal leave-in for styling and moisture, but last night I used it intentionally before my blow dry, as I’m planning to do a silk press. My hair has never gotten so smooth, straight, and shiny so fast after a blow dry. I am wowed by the results!

I still use the anti frizz shampoo and conditioner but my hair has been extra dry ever since going back blonde so I need extra help in the conditioning department. This leave in conditioner is silky and lightweight, smells wonderful as does their whole line, and doesn’t leave a greasy feel in my hair. The bottle is huge so it will last for a long time. A little goes a long way. Love this stuff.
