Book Synopsis
Mystical superhero roleplaying powered by Fate!
They say that the world ended. That the entire omniverse was eaten up and everyone died, but that the heroes dragged us back from the precipice and saved everything. Again. The truth is somewhere close to that. As Reality heals, the fact that the universe died and was reborn slowly fades from the minds of most people. Memories realign to the truth that this is the world that has always existed and that the death and destruction that came before is just a dream that few remember. This new pattern of reality is not yet set, however, and is open to tampering and manipulation. Ancient gods, demonic powers, and new cults all seek to shape Reality to suit their own ends. Against these threats stand the Midnight Heroes - crusaders of myth and magic who stand in the shadows and face the darkness.
Midnight Heroes is a role-playing game of mystical superheroes powered by the Fate gaming engine. Set in a world recovering from a great omniversal disaster, players are mages, investigators, and magical vigilantes dedicated to defending fragile Reality as new threats arise from dark realms and old menaces are reborn in strange new forms.
